Yoga Retreats
Friendly, down-to-earth and welcoming yoga retreats
Santosha Yoga Australia retreats are inclusive, accessible and welcoming for everyone; but especially for people who feel intimidated by mainstream portrayals of yoga.
Santosha yoga retreats offer a memorable experience that combines yoga and meditation, great food, and getting out in nature.
There are no strict regimes, nothing too woo woo, and everything on offer is optional.
Whilst the typical participant is a woman between 40 and 70 years of age, we have had men and women of varying ages, abilities and experience (at yoga, but also at life!)
Our retreats are for you if you want to move well - especially as you age - but have no desire to make complicated shapes with your body. Or if you want to take inspiration from yoga philosophy in a grounded and relatable way.

What to expect on our yoga retreats
Imagine prioritising yourself and your own needs for a whole weekend (or more!) Whether you crave alone time or welcome the opportunity to connect with like-minded souls, there will be something on offer for introverts and extroverts alike.
We will do yoga, meditation, breathwork, workshops and other activities, but of course you have the freedom to choose to participate in as little or as much as you like.
In your free time you might choose to rest and relax, go for walks or a swim, socialise or have alone time.
We stay in beautiful places set in nature. We might be in the bush or by the water (cold water swims are popular on our retreats!).
You will have a choice of a private or shared room: sometimes we are in homes, sometimes in individual cabins. Wherever possible we enjoy yoga and meditation outside.
The meals are always a highlight. It's not just about delicious food prepared by our own private chef. Or the elimination of the mental load that goes with planning, shopping, preparing, cooking and cleaning up.
There's something about the connection and bonding that takes place over a family style meal setting that is so precious.
